Pilot Lodging on Historic West St. in Port Colborne

Pilot Lodging is a furnished apartment on the Greater Niagara Circle Route Trail and is available for short term accommodations on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. It comprises the entire second floor, with a great view of the Welland Canal, the municipal docks and the canal activity through Bridge 21. A second bedroom and second bathroom are available on the first floor of the building. West Street has many fine shops and restaurants along the Port Promenade in front of your suite. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen and three piece bath with claw foot tub with shower. There is a queen size bed plus a full size sofa bed and a cot for one. The ground floor bedroom has a full size sofa bed and there is a two piece bathroom also on the first floor. Secure indoor bicycle parking and laundry facilities are available for all guests. Vehicles have free street parking and a reserved spot for one vehicle is available when necessary.

The 800 square foot (75 square metre) apartment is on the second floor of
what was originally a Canadian Bank Of Commerce, built in 1920.

During the annual Canal Days Marine Heritage festival, tall ships dock in front of the building.

Port Colborne is a working port with more than 3,000 ships from 50 or so nations transiting the Welland Canal annually, and your apartment provides a front row seat. The Sugarloaf Marina, horseback riding, cycling and hiking trails, fishing, beaches, smart shops and restaurants are minutes away, while Niagara Falls and many Niagara Region wineries and craft breweries are a short drive away.

A private entrance to the apartment is at the side of the building.

A den with desk, free wi-fi and a wardrobe. A folding cot (suitable for someone under 150 lbs) is stowed behind the privacy screen.
